You are receiving this message because you have a Globalstar/SPOT device associated with active bundled membership benefits that include a SAR benefit and were purchased through the MyGEOS website.
Please note that Globalstar moved to a new service provider for membership benefits on July 1, 2021 and will be moving to a new provider for SOS coordination services on September 1, 2021.
Because the SAR membership benefit requires use of a supported device, effective September 1, 2021, Garmin and the International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) will no longer be able to support bundled membership benefits for Globalstar/SPOT devices.
What happens to my bundled membership benefits on September 1?
On September 1, 2021, bundled membership benefits associated with a Globalstar/SPOT device will be cancelled.
If you would like to continue your existing bundled membership benefits, you will need to update the device on your MyGEOS account to a supported device prior to September 1, 2021.
Will I receive a refund if my bundled membership benefits are cancelled?
Yes. All refunds are pro-rated for the remainder of your membership period.
